Brief Description

• Supervises the execution of installation and maintenance activities related to equipment within his domain both on site and/or in the drilling workshop. This includes checking manufacturers’ as built drawings, confirming conformity to purchase order and verifying accuracy of received equipment.
• Plans maintenance activities and determines appropriate procedures, ensures availability of required materials, spares and equipment, liaisons with operations in the areas of common concern. Investigates and troubleshoots equipment problems

Detailed Description

• Inspects and ensures that the correct equipment within his domain are available and in good condition before installation.
• Safely installs, tests and evaluate all types of equipment within his domain.
• Participates in the well programs in the relevant section related to his domain.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots problems related to equipment within his domain.
• Visits rigs to supervise operations related to his domain, recommends changes/developments in methods and techniques used aiming at reducing cost and improving efficiency.
• Discusses with service companies work progress and use of equipment and techniques tocope with operational requirements.

Additional Details

• Updates standard designs, procedures and other related equipment requirements.
• Conducts regular visits to facilities of equipment suppliers to ensure equipment are ingood working condition and to supervise maintenance work on company equipment.
• Drafts inquires for local machining of equipment, issues minor work orders and taskorders for the inspection/repair of relevant equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. in PetroleumEngineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5 years' experiencein drilling including 2 years’ well siteexperience and 2-3 years in drilling, completion and/or wire line equipment operations and procurement.
