1. Job Purpose:
Plans, Directs and Co-ordinates all the productionsactivities withinNASRField related to all aspects of the operations from Wellhead Towers including oil/ gas production, water injection, gas lift ensuring alignments to production/injection targetsand proper execution within budgetsso that productions/ injections is uninterrupted and is in compliance with Company HSE regulations and operating standards and procedures as per ADMA-OPCO’s and the shareholders’ guidelines.
2. Principal Accountabilities:
- Studies and coordinates with Site and Field Development Studies Division to minimize operational losses and improve the effective production / injection capacity.
- Coordinates with Oil & Gas Coordination Division and Field Development Studies Division to develop the dynamic well production / injection plan and recommend measures to achieve the field’s set target production / injection rates.
- Coordinates with Petroleum Engineering & Field Development Studies Divisions to develop the dynamic well monitoring implementation plans and recommends measures to improve their efficiency.
- Acts as focal point on occasion of major field / plant shutdowns. Develops major milestone bar chart by coordination with all concerned divisions.
- Undertakes studies to evaluate alternative for the up grading / de-bottlenecking of existing network for the purpose of enhancing capacity to meet the production and injection targets.
- Studies, devises and conducts field trials and performance test to identify and evaluate appropriate methods to enhance the performance of process and facilities chemicals, wells and Subsea pipelines.
- Provides operation philosophy and SOR / SOW input for major projects for full field development / expansion / replacement including operational / technical review throughout the life cycle of the projects. Participates in the project implementation phase. Reviews PMR’s and WR based on operational needs.
- Analyses Studies of plant trips and establishes database in coordination with site to monitor reliability and provide solutions to ensure availability.
- Participates in safety study as HAZOPs, HAZIDs, and PHSER risk assessment reviews. Prepares contingency procedures to tackle sudden failure of equipment / pipelines. Updates and follows up Umm Shaif Risk Register for relevant facilities/processes.
- Implements field & well monitoring plans, procedures, and operational programs, devised to monitor investigate the performance of existing wells in order to deliver the reservoir monitoring requirements.
- Works in line with HSE policy, and ensures awareness and compliance with HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
- Guides, directs and supervises subordinates to ensure they work to their best potential and contribute effectively as a team, develops training plans and coordinates development of UAE Nationals.

- Writing Reports.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of chemicals, spares, consumable’s and stores stock.
- Training subordinates, following up Progress of UAE National Developers, Training etc.
- Preparing/ reviewing accident/incident reports.

Communication & Organizational Relationships:
- Daily contacts with Site, Petroleum Engineering, Fields Development Studies and Oil & Gas supports units to ensure production operations comply with requirements / guidelines.
- Daily contacts with the Manager NASR Field to discuss ongoing work, developments, performance results, planning and risk mitigation issues.
- Daily contacts with Team Leaders of other units to coordinate work.
- Frequent contact with Integrity Division to develop work schedules and discuss work progress and technical issues related to the integrity of Subsea pipelines and surface facilities.
- Frequent contacts with the Maintenance team to develop work schedules and discuss works progress/ technical issues related to Well Head Tower maintenance and surface equipment.
- Regular contacts with other OPCO’s and Shareholder representatives in order to share knowledge and best practice.
- Works according to Company’s established procedures and specialized/professional standards. Exercises latitude in providing solution to problems.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum / Production Engineering or any other equivalent.
- 10 - 12 years of relevant work experience in the Oil & Gas industry with at least five years’ experience in a senior supervisory role.
- Knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas production and off-shore production operations.
- Proficient in English.
