Our client, a hardware trading and supply company, is looking to recruit a Store Accountant for their set up in Abu Dhabi

Job Details

 Our client is a Local Hardware trading and supply company with a variety of Materials and equipment. Having multiple stores in Abu dhabi, they are looking to hire an experienced Store Accountant to provide financial administrative support to the entity in Abu Dhabi.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recording supplier invoices on timely manner as per VAT compliance. Recording & Reconciling Intercompany Invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Reconciling Supplier balances on a monthly basis & resolving imbalances. Preparations Supplier Payment on timely manner.
  • To carry out all month-end duties in accordance with the agreed timetable.
  • Stock Control/Counts:
  • Weekly & monthly audits of GRN & inventory transactions.
  • Recording of Inventory wastage in a timely manner.
  • Scheduled physical stock count at the end of every month/quarter.
  • Schedule & Supervises physical stock counts on a monthly/quarterly manner. Finalizations of Inventory physical count report in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for Opening & Closing of company Inventory periods on Oracle.
  • Highlighting "Slow Moving" stock & other issues to the Buyer & Department Heads.
  • Responsible for creating and assigning items on Oracle.
  • Continuous Audit of all inventory items to ensure that there is no duplication and/ or erroneous information.
  • Rectifies all item information that requires updating or amending.
  • Any other duties as may be required from time to time.
  • To ensure that there are no unapproved exceptions to group policies and to report all exceptions that are non-compliant.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce Stream.
  • Preferable with having qualifications Accounting/Finance and Inventory management background.
  • Minimum 2 years.
  • VAT Accounting Knowledge.
  • Experience in managing maintenance and Retail stores.
Work Experience
  • Competent in using MS Office, Advanced Excel.
Skills
  • Working knowledge in Inventory Management software.
  • Maintenance, Hardware & Retail Store Inventory Management.
  • Should possess good communication skills.
  • Personal Attributes e Should have a good command over the English Language.
  • Ability to work in a Multi-cultural environment.
  • Should be able to independently handle task & meet deadlines.

Preference given to Locally Available Candidates who are on spouse visa in Abu Dhabi and who can join immediately
