Site activities include working with documentation for safety and non-safety related components, systems and equipment used for the fuel handling systems, reactor channel inspection deli
Specific responsibilities and accountabilities include the following:
TECHNICAL
- Assist in arranging MTL and SRE walk-downs to assess if configuration deficiencies exist between installed plant configuration and latest approved drawings and change papers
- Assist in arranging COMS meetings at the power plant site.
PROCESS & PROCEDURES
- Be knowledgeable about and assure compliance and adherence to ECC processes
- Interface with Engineering Design Authority Representatives to help ensure that ECC processes are chosen correctly and agreed to prior to commencing design work.
- Obtain approval for Design Plans created at the beginning of the project
- Assist in arranging Design Reviews as required during the project lifecycle
- Submit design packages to customer for approval
- Complete DTL Passport entries required by ECC process
- Interface to clarify and resolve any ECC process issues.
PROJECT EXECUTION
- Track and report status of ECC packages transmitted to site.
GENERAL
- This role requires frequent interaction with external customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional internal teams including the PMO
Engineering degree or technologist diploma
Min 5 years experience in design engineering
Knowledge of nuclear engineering change control processes
Excellent written and oral communication skills, understandable by a diverse audience
Demonstrated ability to interface with customers and internal technical functions
Must be willing to be permanently located at the work site
