Ensures strict compliance of established HSE policies in each shift.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and compiles Daily Shift Safety Inspection/ Audit Reports and submits them to the HSEQ Team Leader.
Reports to local authorities accidents that necessitate hospital visit, loss of life and those resulting to substantial damage to property,
Reports all Lost Time Accidents (LTA), Near Miss and Restricted Work Cases (RWC) in the Knowledge Management System (KMS) Investigator module and follows up status thereof.
Assists the HSEQ Team Leader in preparing the annual budget.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Diploma/ Certificate preferably Industrial Engineer, HSE
2. 3 year previous experience preferably in a port / container terminals services company
3. Relevant trainings from accredited safety organizations
4. Fluebt in written and spoken English
5. Understands port safety regulations and procedures
6. Must be able to relate with all levels of the organization
7. Physically fit. no fear of heights and able to pass full medical examination
