Job Description

To lead the development of Severe Accident Management Program to mitigate consequences of accidents and provide management and technical decision making process. 

• Develop severe accidence management guidance and procedure in order to ensure effective and consistent processes 
• Prepare tools for mitigating core damage events methods to preserve possible barriers against event spreading and mitigate consequences of severe accident 
• Develop possible methods to detect early phase of severe accidents 
• Postulate unspecified events and activities and their estimated consequences 
• Develop management decision making process for severe accidents to minimize severe accidents 
• Improve operational and technical decision making process for the smooth running of the plant 
• Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships 
• Follow all relevant departmental HSE policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure HSE compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying these HSE policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety of people, or the environment, who are at the employee's place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work

Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 
• 5+ years relevant experience in the areas of risk and safety analysis in nuclear industry
