1.Job purpose:
Well head Integrity check, operate start-up/ shutting of well head towers containing oil, gas and water injection wells, cause and effect checks,troubleshooting and problem solving, prepare wellhead tower for routine/planned maintenance, analyse annulus pressure surveys, carry out well testing using multiphase flow meters and test barge, carry out infield oil/water and gas pipelines cleaning and intelligent pigging operations.
2.Principal accountabilities:
- Co-ordinates the routine / planned maintenance activities, including issuing work permits for maintenance jobs, shutting –down / starting up additional equipment to ensure that plant’s operations are not interrupted.
- Records in a log sheet operating data such as: WHT availability, Annulus pressure survey and reports to production supervisor abnormal reading. Implement approved remedial actions immediately.
- Monitors all oil, water and gas wellhead towers conditions such as flow rates, pressures, temperatures, levels, etc. through displays, graphics and trend logs.
- Prepares the wellhead towers equipments and sub-sea pipelines for maintenance as per the established procedures and ADMA-OPCO safety regulations. Accompanies the Instrument/Mechanical/Electrical Technicians to explain defects/faults ensuring safe preparation of equipment for routine planned maintenance, and test such repaired equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Maintains adequate standard of housekeeping throughout plants.
- Inform supervisor for the replenishment of stores stock items/chemicals necessary for operating the wellhead tower and sub-sea pipelines, checks consignments and endorses loading/delivery notes. Maintains adequate housekeeping according to company’s safety regulations.
- Identifies and investigates any faults and inform the concerned departments, for remedial action.
- Report Near Miss encountered with his day to day activities related to unsafe conditions and practices.
- Performs first line routine service e.g. greasing, lubricating, adjusting glands, tightening loose connection, changing filters,…etc, producing weekly chemicals stock/consumption reports, and preparing isolation confirmation certificates ICC…etc.
- Coordinate Marine operations/ Helicopters operations at well head towers.
- Takes immediate corrective actions to limit risk to personnel, well head tower and production during emergency situations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor, e.g., participating in training/developing new recruits/UAE nationals employees/juniors… etc.
- Adheres to Company's HSE policy, standards and approved operating procedures while performing the duties / tasks.
- Maintains environmental protection by implementing the safe procedures for handling dangerous wastes and apply waste segregation procedure.

4. Communications & Organisational Relationships:
- Daily contacts with work associates and operation personal up to supervisor level to discuss production of oil/water and gas targets and wellhead towers operating activities.
- Daily contacts with work associates and maintenance personal to co-ordinate the preparation for maintenance.
- Frequent contacts with production operators and helpers to explain requirements.
- Works according to establish procedure, specialized technical standards and safety instructions, using own initiative, judgment in adjusting wellhead tower conditions.
- Completed work is subject to moderate supervision.

7. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge skills & Experience):
- Completion of secondary education certificate followed by 2 year Diploma in Technical Trade.
- 8 years experience preferably in offshore production/plant operations including first-line maintenance.
- Good knowledge of English.
