Plans, implements and monitors the suitable program for Water Accounting & Economics, Water Saving Audits & Instrumentation, Water Efficient Equipment, and Water Management Systems.
1. Conduct water saving audits at medium to large domestic, commercial and industrial and agricultural consumption facilities to identify and recommend energy efficiency improvements in systems.
2. Create & Implement a comprehensive water conservation program setting out ultimate demand management goals
3. Calculate possible water savings of large conservation programs.
4. Recommend ways business, agriculture, and consumers can save water.
5. Participate in creating and promoting water conservation regulations.
6. Collect, interpret, and analyze water use data to see if the water uses is meeting conservation goals.
7. Recommend new water—saving equipment & mechanisms.
8. Write technical reports summarizing results from water audits to recommend savings amounts and incentive payments.
9. Provide advanced technical direction to other staff and train junior engineers on water conservation , demand management program, various water efficiency devices & project and water saving auditing. Also create the public awareness to adopt them
10. Perform other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the Demand Side Management Specialist.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering, or equivalent is essential.
Additional postgraduate qualifications will be preferred.
2. 10 years of experience in water / water save and water auditing field.
3. Very good acquisition of English and Arabic language. Advance communication skills.
4. Very good interpersonal, organizational, adaptability, planning, and team building skills.
5. Computer literate with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
