Job Purpose:
Monitors and controls the assigned plants system through DCS and ensures safe and efficient operations of Process Systems and Equipment at ZWSC RP/ NRP/ CSP/WIP/GG 11/GPF & GIP of oil and gas facilities, and coordinates with CCR to ensure production operations changes are carried out according to company rules and regulations
Principal Accountabilities:
Acts in coordination with productions Supervisor to ensure "ZERO" gas flaring at ZW. Implements HSEMS programs including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 with O&G plants.
Directs and guides Plant Shift Operators involved in the implementation of operational plant program's and instructions.
Directs, controls and monitors the activities of CSP/ GG-11/ GIP/ CGIP/ GPF operations including starting up/ shutting down of Trains, gas injection monitoring and pressure control.
Prepares daily reports, weekly agenda/ outlook, monthly trip reports and running hour data.
Prepares weekly chemical, oil and consumables stock inventory.
Maintains proper housekeeping in the plants including engine compartments. Performs other related duties such as collecting water samples carrying out first line routine services greasing,
lubricating, adjusting glands, tightening loose connections, changing filters. Producing weekly chemicals stock/ consumption reports.
Carries out Pigging operations as per procedure. Coordinates with Productions Supervisor (OGO), Process and Procedures Engineer in preparing Procedures and File notes as required.
Assists Productions Supervisor in co-ordination with Projects team/ Engineering for Modifications packages and ensures that the work is carried out in a safe environment. Raises PMR and follows up with Maintenance Planning to update maintenance activities.
Operates the DCS for plant start-up, operations and shut down as per Operguid procedures.
Monitors all plants and Wellhead Towers conditions through displays, graphics and trend logs.
Maintains the sub-sea line pressure to meet the injections target of ADMA I ZADCO WHT's.
Operates all Trains at optimum conditions and maintains USSC gas imports accordingly.
Exports GG II gas to USSC as per CCR instructions. Closely monitors and operates the plants
Fire & Gas detections and Fire protection system for Deluge and equipment protections.
Closely monitors and records all plants operating parameters, flow rates, pressures, temperature, levels and reports abnormalities to supervisor.
Ensures adherence, awareness and compliance of all work forces to Company's Safety
Regulations, Standards, Procedures and Standing Instructions.
Ensures safety equipment in OGO plants are kept in proper operating conditions. Follows-up guidelines of ADMA OPCO HSEMS based on IS0/14001& OHSAS/18001 Risk Management.
Ensures permits to Work system are followed and applied.
Carries out Safety Surveys and reports and actions the deficiencies. Reports near misses and hazardous conditions during routine checks. Follows up ADMA OPCO waste handling policy and HSE regulations to avoid personal or environment injury.
Works in line with HSE policy and awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:
Secondary Technical Certificate followed by 3 years formal training leading to a Technical Diploma.
5 - 6 Years' experience in an offshore Oilfield production/ processing operations including experience of DCS operations.
Good knowledge of English language.
