JOB PURPOSE :
- Drives the performance planning, tracking and reportingwithin assigned technical and business focus areas, with special emphasis on HSE, Production Operations, Drilling, Major Projects and Financial Managementin a manner which proactively supportsthe attainment of the organizational objectives and established performancetargets.

Job Specific Accountabilities
Performance Planning
- Provides advisory support on the drivers of performance and KPIs across technicaland non-technical focus areas and ensures organizational alignment through abusiness partnership approach.
- Conducts technical research and benchmarking studies, aspart of organizational self-assessments, and identifies potential areas andopportunities for performance enhancements.
- Drives the development of Assets/Functions PerformanceContracts and setting of KPI targets in a manner which supports continuousperformance improvements.
- Supports the development of the Corporate PerformanceContract through the provision of advisory support to internal and external SubjectMatter Experts (SMEs) on KPIs’ guidelines, definitions and calculations.
- Manages the performance management systems used in thegovernance of defined performance contracts.
Performance Evaluation & Reporting
- Consolidates and reviews large datasets, executes analytical studies, andproduces technical and business insights/reports in order to ensure theorganization is on track to deliver expected outcomes.
- Proactively identifies and evaluates areas ofperformance concerns, and devises effective performance enhancement mitigationstrategies and actions plans.
- Produces detailed forecasts drawing on insights andexpertise for technical and business operations KPIs in order to develop theoutlook for the year.
- Tracks and analyses monthly performance across theareas of HSE, production operations, drilling, major projects and financialmanagement in order to evaluate conduct detailed analysis of actual progressvs. plan, and devise improvement plans.
- Develops detailed reports, presentations andmanagement information for sharing with the various organizational stakeholdersand management teams.=
Developing Business Insights
- Review historicalperformance and develop appropriate data models, business cases, and long-termforecasts to evaluate performance trends and devise business insights
- Conduct business and marketintelligence research

Supervision
- Plan,supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functionalobjectives.
- Train anddevelop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to becomeproficient on the job and deliver therespective section objectives.
Budgets
- Provide inputfor preparation of the Unit / Divisional budgets and assist in theimplementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver objectives.
- Investigateand highlight any significant variances to support effective performance andcost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Implementapproved Unit / Divisional policies, processes, systems, standards andprocedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line withCompany and International standards.
Performance Management
- Contribute tothe achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Unit / Divisionin line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Design andimplement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency ofoperational processes.
- Identifyimprovements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greaterefficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutionsfor issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Comply withrelevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation andsustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practicesand ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
- Provide inputsto prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
MinimumQualification
- Bachelor’s degree in anEngineering Discipline, with preferably a second degree in Business or Finance
MinimumExperience & Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of 8years of experience with 6 years in a technical discipline and 2 years in aplanning and performance function
- Excellent understanding and strong exposure to the variousO&G engineering disciplines, including HSE, Production Operations,Drilling, Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering.
- Strong understanding of performance managementframeworks, tools and systems
- Strong financial management and commercial acumen
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Strong understanding of thevarious O&G engineering disciplines and operations (HSE, ProductionOperations, Drilling, Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering
