KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist Project HSSE Manager to ensure implementation of the HSSE Plan & Procedures
- Lead the project to achieve High-Quality HSSE Standards as per the Company, UAE- Local as well as International Standards and Regulations.
- Coordinate incidents and near-miss investigations and prepare reports.
- Assign Duties and Responsibilities of HSSE inspectors & other HSSE associates working for the Respective Project & assess their performance on a regular basis.
- Conduct HSSE Walkthrough, Meetings, and other HSSE-related campaigns and awareness programs.
- Submit Reports to the HSSE Management Office within the time.
- Conduct inter-site audits, Periodic Reviews, Training
- Take the leadership on HSSE Documentation & Implementation
- Coordinate HSSE Induction training for all new Joiners and other in-house HSSE Training programs on a needy basis.
- Provide input in HIRA for the team and advise on proactive safety measures to the project management team.
- Advice Engineering control measures and apply ERICPD in all areas of the Works and Project Plan
- Prepare an HSE training plan for the project and provide internal training as and when required.
- Advise and audit External Training & ensure 3rd-Party Testing & Examination is being done as per the Standards & Requirements
- Team strengthening and conflict management.
- Monitor the action points at the work site and render necessary guidance to Engineers / Supervisors / Workmen during the site inspection.
- Audit and site administration and provide necessary advice on the findings.
- Conduct site HSSE inspections and the reports to be sent to the concerned within time.
- Manage and cooperate with regulatory authorities during their site visit and provide necessary documents as required.
- Provide innovative solutions for occupational health and safety and implement the same.
