Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will oversee financial analysis operations and provide expert guidance in financial planning, investments, and market consultations. The role requires comprehensive experience in financial analysis, a solid understanding of financial markets, and proficiency in financial consultation services. The candidate must be SCA Approved.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Supervise and conduct financial analysis to evaluate company performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities for senior management.
- Analyze financial statements, business models, and investment portfolios to offer strategic insights.
Consultations & Recommendations:
- Provide detailed financial market consultations and investment advice based on sound financial analysis.
- Identify potential financial improvements and recommend effective cost-saving measures.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial analyses and present findings to key stakeholders.
Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay abreast of industry trends and economic indicators affecting the business.
- Develop and recommend financial strategies that align with organizational goals and market conditions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance through effective financial planning.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with SCA regulations, financial regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies.
- Identify and assess financial risks, implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial services, and consultations within the financial markets or related fields.
- Option 2: Diploma or equivalent qualification with at least 10 years of experience in financial analysis, financial services, and consultations within the financial markets or related fields.
Alternative Qualification:
Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial services, and consultations within the financial markets or related fields, along with one of the following certifications:
- Accredited Financial Analyst
- Certified Investment Professional
- Certificate in Quantitative Finance
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA)
Additional Requirement:
- Must be SCA Approved or Should have Experiance working with SCA Licensed Companies
