JOB PURPOSE:
Provide planning scheduling supports services to Offshore site operation and Maintenance sections to ensure all planned and unplanned jobs are implemented in a cost effective and safely manner.
Plans and supervises the activities of Operations Planning to provide the necessary planning of all maintenance and operations activities, Coordinates efforts of planning engineers to develop the major work program for the division to ensure continual evaluation of work load Vs resources. Plans, coordinates schedules and controls the work program efficiently. Develop the division’s short and long term plans and executes all above tasks in areas of SU fields.Implement Company’s Maintenance policy and strategies through ERP/CMMS system.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
Accountability 1
- Prepare and issue offshore site based integrated master plan covering sub-surface & surface activities and update the plan quarterly basis.
- Assist site management in preparing KPIs to ensure that company goals are fully met and update the report on monthly basis.
- Prepare & issue preventative maintenance plans for all assets using CMMS system, monitoring the work progress, report monthly backlog / man-hours utilization reports.
- Analyze work service requests (WSR) and prepare in liaison with the Maintenance trades, Operation Department and functional departments, a workable maintenance programme for approval and implementation, taking into account the various constraints.
- Ensure proper implementation of CMMS (MAXIMO) in all maintenance related activities that it conforms to company standards and specifications. Ensure history capture of all maintenance work. Issue noncompliance report on regular basis. Conduct period audit to ensure that relevant data are captured in Maximo.
- Prepare micro level planning package and monitor the progress during shutdown implementation. Facilitate the daily shutdown meeting. Issue daily shutdown progress report. Analyze resource requirements (Manpower & Material, equipment & Tools) for shutdown work and ensure their availability well in advanced. Follow-up with Operation SD-support division –SU on the availability of and requirements for contractors. Outline number and qualifications of contractors required in liaison with the trades concerned at offshore.
- Participates/assists in the preparation of the capital and operating plan budgets including the provision of cost data to various services, collecting and compiling such data into one report. Ensures that the budget is in line with the company approved business plan guide lines.
- Focal point for all offshore based services contracts and support Operation & Maintenance section to issue call off orders/releases.
- Follow-up on spare parts, consumables and direct purchase requisitions to ensure timely delivery. Recommend in liaison with the appropriate section, changes or modifications in stock levels or materials used. Review the critical spare availability at inventory in coordination with Maintenance section & create VAP in Maximo to set the stock inventory.
- Follow up/coordination with various support department such as OSD-SU, SUFD, Logistic, commercial, HSE, Zirku store and LG Mussafah, external suppliers/vendors as required to meet the business requirement.
- Participate and contribute all site based audit (Shareholders/HSE) and update the audit recommendations as required
Accountability 2
- Leads in development of Hook Up Plans, Major schemes, Maintenance Barge / Boat mobilization plans, Shutdown plans, Inspection plans and Five(5) years integrated master plan.
- Advises in development of Service Level Agreement/Business Agreements
- Lead in preparation of five year logistics demand forecast and update on yearly basis
- Coordinates preparation of all operations periodic reports, such as weekly, monthly and quarterly issuance.
- Maintains a close follow up of major schemes including asset registration, PMs/JPs, spare parts. Analyses Progress and reports deviations from the program and proposes alternative solutions.
- Ensures divisional maintenance and operations activities are according to agreed plan.
- Assist Operations Planning Team Leader in providing cost effective solution to facility limitations in order to meet changing oil production targets and qualities.
- Provide input and data for AEC (Automated Effective Capacity) model within SU Field activities in coordination with Field Operation and Field Development team.
- Liaises with the Job Officersof different teams(Abu Dhabi & Offshore sites) to prepare budget request as per approved business planfor capital and operating budget. Follow up for processing and phasing of budget.
- Attends site coordination, shutdowns, field operations and operations technical support division’s Bi-weekly coordination and barge program meetings.
- Prepares overall maintenance works programs to be executed by barge at SU locations and reviews work program for maintenance of offshore facilities plants.
- Assist in preparing KPIs, PCs and SLAs to ensure respective company goals are fully met.
- Participates in coordination with other business units in the process of statement of requirement, operations and maintenance philosophy and process design.
- Attends site visits to collate, agree and communicate planning related issues.
- Participate and contribute all HQ based audits and lead in updating the audit recommendations as required.

- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
- Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal
- Daily contacts with SU sites, Operation Planning and Support team/Team Leader/Manager to discuss different planning, technical and non-technical issues and to deliver necessary planning support.
- Frequent contacts with UL/SARB/SU divisional VPs/Mangers and teams for provision of updating, reviewing and executing operations maintenance planned work and performance.
- Completed work assignment is subject to general review by Team Leader.
External
- Limited coordination with Concession Holders /Suppliers / contractors
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Electronics) with expertise of planning techniques.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry, including at least 8 years in supervisory capacity. Good knowledge of various aspects of operations and business planning strategy, projects, maintenance and integrity especially in Offshore operations.
- Hand-on experience in using planning software’s such as Maximo/SAP, Primavera & MS Project
- Good knowledge of English and computer literate.
