Plans, implements and monitors the suitable program for Energy Accounting & Economics, Energy Audits & Instrumentation, Energy Efficient Equipment, and Energy Management Systems and promote an efficient Lighting & Maintenance program.
1. Conduct electricity saving audits at medium to large domestic, commercial and industrial facilities to identify and recommend energy efficiency improvements in systems.
2. Provide technical assistance to support energy efficient project implementation.
3. Complete energy modeling, analysis, simulation to quantify energy impacts of recommendations.
4. Write technical reports summarizing results from energy audits to recommend savings amounts and incentive payments.
5. Provide advanced technical direction to other staff and train junior engineers on electricity conservation, demand management program, various water efficiency devices & project and electricity saving auditing. Also create the public awareness to adopt them.
6. Perform other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the Demand Side Management Specialist.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Additional postgraduate qualifications will be preferred.
2. 10 years of experience in electricity / 6116ng save and energy auditing field.
3. Very good acquisition of English and Arabic language. Advanced communication skills.
4. Very good interpersonal, organizational, adaptability, planning, and team building skills.
5. Computer literate with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
