Missions
Conduct key performance assessment evaluations through implementation and maintaining the Corrective Action Program (CAP). Provide comprehensive disposition to Event Reports to include data analysis, trending and documenting organizational performance. Serve as the lead on Apparent Cause (ACE) and Root Cause (RC) Evaluation teams. Advise site senior management on corrective actions to improve performance. This position will serve in an acting capacity in the absence of a Manager within the Project organization.
- Receipt and disposition of Event Reports (ER), maintenance of tracking logs and issuance of related summary assessments and reports.Ensure the quality and completeness of assigned corrective action evaluations while serving as the single point of contact for assigned ER resolution.
- Perform Apparent Cause (ACE) and Root Cause (RC) analysis
- Serve as the Lead on Root Cause investigative teams
- Evaluation of NRC Informational Notices and Significant Event Reports
- Data gathering, analysis, action planning and implementation of the corrective action program to include performing GAP analysis of historical data in support of process improvement initiatives
- Maintain the CAP database to identify Adverse Trends – ensure ER resolution dates are met – provide trending data for the monthly dashboard presentation
- Facilitatecross departmental communication and coordinate support needs across multiple organizations with key stakeholders
- Anticipate and identify obstacles/issues that may put the project at risk; implements mitigating corrective actions, as required
- Maintain and applies broad contemporary knowledge of principles, best practices and procedures associated with the corrective action program
Candidate Profile :
- The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field and 10 years of related work experience with four years in a leadership role directly related to Corrective Action and/or Performance Assessment.
- Must be knowledgeable of construction principles and problem solving techniques.
- Should possess superior written and oral communication skills and a strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to communicate throughout organization, including making presentations and communicating with upper management.
- At a minimum, candidate must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 10 years of related work experience with four years in a leadership role directly related to Corrective Action and/or Performance Assessment.
- Nuclear or fuel cycle licensed facility experience and/or Training in Root Cause Analysis (Tap Root or MORT method) is a plus.
