We are looking for Senior Manpower Analyst to be based in one of the Government Sectors in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Develops updates and maintains integrity of the organization charts to ensure smooth and adequate implementation. Ensures that requests for variation are in line with manpower plan and company policy.
- Plans and directs activities for compiling annual Manpower Budget for all departments including gathering all data and liaising with Managers to ensure timely completion of manpower planning budget. Issues final approved Manpower Budget, Organization Charts and Establishment and monitors implementation generates periodic reports.
- Define succession plan to determine the path of an employee’s career from the date of joining to the end of their employment.
- Follows up ongoing activities regarding manpower movement, such as employment requisitions, transfers, promotions, terminations, placement of temporary employees, . Maintains, updates and prepares statistical list as required for the department status report.
- Participates in the collection, compilation and analysis of relevant data to be used in the department’s annual manpower planning exercise, i.e. manpower chart, budget, performance appraisal, etc.
- Operates computer HR System for processing manpower data, using various computer programs such as database, spreadsheet, graphic, word processing, etc. Maintains proper log/entries of files/document created and or deleted. Assists in designing/developing system for manpower planning to record employee status change, employment requisitions, performance appraisal, seconders and temporary staff information to ensure that manpower data is processed, maintained and updated properly.
- Maintains the filing system of the Manpower Planning unit, utilizes all related information, references and records based on daily manpower movement to ensure that they are properly documented/filed and also their confidentiality/security are well maintained at all time.
- Updates manpower organizational chart periodically and makes necessary changes, such as grades, designation etc. to maintain up-to-date manpower charts. Assists in drawing manpower charts, verifies and checks against the approved organization chart, highlights the pending cases and reports to Supervisor as necessary.
- Create a system for job descriptions with writing job descriptions for all positions within the organization and ensure all budgeted positions have well defined and appropriate job descriptions
- Prepare handover of all jobs positions to HR Manager and to Line Managers
- Carries out job analysis and evaluation functions in coordination with approved consultant.
- Prepare all documents related to Job Evaluations and inform the evaluated job grade to the concerned department head.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor, such as typing reports, standards agreements, etc as requested by the supervisor.
Skills
- Succession Planning
- Holds a Bachelors degree
- Must have 3- 4 years of Experience in Manpower planing
- Minimum 6-7 years’ experience in human resources with emphasis on organization development, Succession planning & career planning preferably in oil & Gas Companies
- Excellent knowledge of ERP application preferably SAP
- Excellent Communication skills
