Allstream is hiring our next generation of Recruitment Consultants and we are looking for consultants to join us in our Abu Dhabi office. These are full time, permanent position

Job Details

The role
Focused on delivering excellence to your clients and candidates. You will need a lot of energy and drive to be successful and you get out what you put in. Work hard and you will see your performance rewarded in your pay. As a recruitment consultant, you're the vital link between clients and candidates. No two days are the same but you can expect to get involved in:

  • Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies
  • Visiting clients to build and develop positive relationships with them
  • Regular meetings with clients to understand their business and nurture relationships
  • Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment
  • Sourcing business opportunities and leads to generate new clients
  • Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, such as newspapers, websites and magazines
  • Using creative techniques to find the right candidates for your clients
  • Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships
  • Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
  • Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy
  • Screening and interviewing, receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
  • Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants
  • Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
  • Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
  • Informing candidates about the results of their interviews
  • Negotiating offers and terms of business and finalising arrangements between client and candidates
  • Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated
  • Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.
  • Developing a mini business for you to grow and build a team.

Salary

Negotiable but will include a basic salary plus a performance-related bonus or commission. This can either be an individual, team or branch bonus 

Promise of an initial higher salary will depend on sales performance.
