Job Details

Job Purpose :

Establish and implement the Quality assurance programs & provide independent verification on Quality Assurance of procured materials and project quality through Quality Assurance Systems and procedures for all Company business processes. Ensure Quality compliance in various stages of procurements,contracts and during construction stages in fields.

Key accountabilities:

  • Conducts Assurance audits and /or spot checks,ensures timely investigation of matters raised through the program, Maintains confidentiality and recommends corrective action.
  • Conducts verification on third party inspection and related matters. Ensure third party inspection conducted appropriately as assigned.
  • Manages Works with other business unit leaders to increase awareness of the quality Assurance program. Implement the quality compliance assurance program to ensure adherence with the Company standards, specifications, international codes in the areas of Engineering projects, Supply chain and procurement process, line pipes, drilling materials and down hole equipment’s.
  • Summarizes Assurance issues and communicates any matter deemed as a potential risk or weakness to Management. Makes recommendations to improve quality Assurance. Maintains awareness of Assurance issues related to areas of responsibility across the organization.
  • Keeps abreast with latest international codes,standards, procedures, and methodologies; and recommends utilization where applicable.
  • Coordinates with other business units to identify any gaps or shortfall and provide suitable recommendation. Ensure the effectiveness of corrective action taken by stake holders, conduct follow up audit to determine the close out of action plan.
  • Participates in HAZOP studies and provide expert opinion.
  • Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of incidents.
  • Participates or facilitate Audits as per the Framework.Track audit action items and ensure that audit recommendations have been completed and closed out in coordination with concerned Departments. 
  • Provides technical expertise and advice to resolve emerging challenges related to quality and integrity assurance,associated activities, work flows and processes in partnership with respective Assets.
  • Evaluates new technologies, tools and techniques and decides on their suitability to support divisional objectives.

Supervision

  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Budgets

  • Provide input forpreparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
  • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  • Implement approved Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
  • Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.

 Performance Management

  • • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of   operational processes.
  • • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and Company Code of Practices

Reports

  • Provide reports on compliance verification reviews and make Presentation for Company Management

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal

  • Frequent contact with various levels of employees across the company’s divisions according to business needs.

External

  • Company group companies and Occasional contact with contractors and technology and service providers

 

QUALIFICATIONS,EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 12 years of experience in Integrity assurance/management/audit related to the oil & gas industry.
  • Integrity management systems,
  • In service Inspection, quality control, and material selection,
  • Auditing, spot checks, investigation, and root cause analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 qualityrequirements
  • Hands-on Continuous Improvement, and Business Process Re-Engineering
  • Strong experience on international codes API, ASME, ISO.
  • Strong knowledge of integrity and quality management & control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing and benchmarking requirements and process.
