Witness, monitor, or spot check inspections, assemblies, and function testing of Valve components

Witness, monitor, or spot check inspections, assemblies, and function testing of components.
Conduct internal quality assurance reviews & audits and follow-up programmers for project team activities and contractor’s work in accordance with the Project Assurance Plan.
Provide related audit reports and coordinate close out of audit findings.
Knowledge of the following Inspection Standards API Q1 / Q2, NS-1™, NS-2™, DS-1™ and API Technical Specifications: API 5A5, 5B1, 5C1, 5CT, 5DP, Spec 7-1/2, RP7G-2.
Document QA/QC discrepancies, Witness and document tool tear downs, perform BHA evaluation
Interface with clients when equipment attributes do not meet the criteria established to analyze options, spot some failure analysis reports conducted under supervision and as per customer request.
5 years’ experience in QA/QC functions or inspection field in valves manufacturing/Maintenance.
NDT-ASNT TC 1A level II certification in MT, UT, PT, RT techniques.
On hand experience in using measuring instruments for inspection.
Good Knowledge about different types of valves, such as Gate, Globe Check, Ball, Plug, Choke, Control valves, Pressure relief valves etc.
Conversant with valve accessories and components.
Good Knowledge and experience in pressure testing of valves.
Familiar with material specifications and international standards, such as ASTM, ASME, FCI, API, ISO, EN etc.
Basic knowledge in machining and welding activities.
