Responsibilities
Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
· Reporting on Quality performance.
· Reviewing of all Contractors quality and testing, submissions for contract compliance.
· Carrying out surveillance activities on company activities to ensure compliance with approved methods/materials.
· Conducting internal training where appropriate.
· Issuing regular guidance and information to quality department and engineering staff to ensure key issues are effectively managed.
· Assisting senior staff to monitor and close non-conformances.
· Reporting on Quality performance at meetings.
· Reviewing of all Contractors quality and testing, submissions for contract compliance.
· Ensure competent contribution to Project team activities through PQAE, by: participating in the kick off meeting; defining the SOW for remote activities; updating QA Cost Estimation; establishing and updating the Project Quality System (Quality Plan and Procedures); proposing the Project Quality Report; establishing the Software Project Quality Plan (with support from WPL); and developing suitable quality KPIs.
· Ensure training sessions with reference to the Project Quality System (including updates) or help coordinate process-specific training such as Teamcenter.
· Ensure interface, as a support to the Project Manager, with the client, partners, suppliers and third parties with reference to the quality aspects (not technical issues).

· Verify the purchase specifications for quality aspects of package or complex supplies (quality aspects are defined as those applicable to the quality standards specified – this does not include technical aspects).
· Establish and update the Software Project Quality Plan (with support from PE and/or WPL) and the Configuration Management Plan (with support from PM, PE, WPLs, COM, and CM) based upon input from the applicable stakeholders.

· Monitor the implementation of the quality management system in project execution
· Enhance quality performance and improvement across the project through audits and surveillance
· Establish, document and maintain a quality control system for PMC site activities
· Ensure the establishment of a trained, qualified and competent quality team
· Actively mentor team members, conduct professional development reviews and recommend suitable candidates for promotion
· Supervise the implementation of technical integrity verification
· Liaise with the EPC Contractor as directed Ensure assigned work is managed and delivered to client (ADNOC) satisfaction
· Enhance and demonstrate commitment to raising HSE standards and proposing new initiatives or improvements
· Prepare project quality audit schedules and conduct project quality audits Monitor and review site inspection and testing
· Participate in project meetings and report on quality issues
· Participate in Subcontractor evaluations to review bids submittals on quality requirements, participate in risk analysis and technical scoring processes
· Participate in Construction, Pre-commission and Commission reviews on quality matters
· Participate in project risk assessment workshops
· Support other quality personnel (Coordinators and Inspectors) in monitoring Contractors work execution during project phase
· Direct and supervise a team of relevant discipline engineers
· Responsible for providing expertise and ensures the application of correct standards in all FEED EPC deliverables in the design and development of projects associated with Oil and Gas processing, production and export
· Supervise the work of relevant discipline Engineers and Superintendents and ensure that quality and standards are maintained, and cost-effective solutions are adopted
· Fully understands the COMPANY HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to his area of responsibility
· Ensures that work under his control is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner
Qualifications
· To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years career experience, the last 8 being in a quality related role in the Middle East within oil and gas EPC projects. E&I qualifications and experience are a must, with a Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline and/or Equivalent Technical background
· Applicable Standards and Certification knowledge (ISO, IRIS, CMMI, CENELEC….)
· Auditing Standards (ISO 19011) and techniques
· Organization techniques and process management knowledge
· Risk Management Suppliers qualification and monitoring processes and methods of Project Management
· Cost estimating techniques knowledge and Budgeting knowledge
