Job Details

Job Purpose:
  • Supervises the operations of installation of SIMOPS operation equipment on well head towers according to ADMA- OPCO rules and regulations, efficiently and safely. Liaises with the ADMA Drilling Supervisor on rig and take his instructions with regard to the wells being produced. 
  • Ensure safe SIMOPS operation in compliance according to PlW system, ADMA-OPCO rules and regulations, efficiently and safely.
 
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Takes a high level of safety and house-keeping throughout the field, carries out self-safety audit as per USFD emergency procedures
  •  Directs controls and supervises the activities of a SIMOPS team workforce involved in operating the Production facilities, including: starting up/ shutting down the wells, WHT monitoring pressure survey and WHT housekeeping ... etc.
  • Supervises Installation of SIMOPS Equipment such as Deluge system, emergency shutdown (ESD) systems, installation temporary HC and H2S detection system i.e. one automatic on the platform and one manual on the rig/ barge will be required during the entire simultaneous operation.
  • Carries out injection/production operations on the existing platform, monitors globally and takes suitable actions on the existing producing wells during SIMOPS.
  • Participates in Kick-off meeting and the compliance of all facilities with SIMOPS is checked.
  • Prepares and agree handover check list that should cover all equipmenUsystems to confirm preparedness of the WHT's for SI MOPS prior to rig move.
  • Supervises the operation of oil/gas and water production including opening, closing, adjusting wells, carrying out well flow test utilizing test separators, MPFM, operating wellhead equipment, controlling quantities of water injected , to ensure that the of oil and gas production quantities and quality as required target, Reports the results to MTPO. WHT Handover from Asset to DD & vice versa.
  • Liaises with ADMA-OPCO Drilling, logistics and Rig Contractor to carry out WHT site inspection before the expected date of rig move (30 days).
  • Makes sure securing Wells prior Rig approach and all crossing lines shall be shutdown & depressurized for the Rig approach.
  • Conducts regular safety meetings with Drilling team to promote awareness of safety rules and regulations and ensure adherence to same. Follows-up contractors' performance and ensures compliance with ADMA-OPCO's safety regulations
  • Ensures the integrity of the producing wells, witness integrity test of X-Mass tree valves for worked over I newly drilled wells prior hand over from the Rigs and make sure two principle barriers.
  • Ensures all temporary piping works for Deluge Water Spray System installed around X-mas Tree area. Confirm the installation of Deluge Skid (temporary) at rig and interconnection to Water Spray Piping at WHT.
  • Ensures the installation portable Gas Detection System I detectors as per the approved lay-out drawings.
  • Performs function test of SIMOPS operation prior and during the course of SIMOPS activities.
  • Achieve oil, gas injection and water injection as per company target.
  • Monitors and supervises through WHT & CCR facilities the operation of crude, Water injection and gas treatment/processing to meet the daily production targets.
  • Ensures compliance with ADMA-OPCO HSE regulations, procedures and standards, including permit to work as performing authority.
  • Participates in risk assessments and non-routine tasks procedures
 
Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:
  • Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:
  • Bachelor degree in Petroleum I Chemical I Mechanical Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
  • 5 - 6 Years' experience in an offshore oilfield production/processing operations with computer operations knowledge, of which at least 3 years in supervisory capacity. Comply with IS0- 14001 .
  • Good knowledge of English language (Writing & Spoken)
