SPECIALIST, PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION

Brief Description

The Senior Specialist Production Optimization is Company technical authority, for all Production Optimization and Well Performance aspects related with petroleum engineering, who provides expert advice related to Production Optimization matters to help Subsurface and Surface Teams achieve their objectives in the areas of Technology Management,Technical Challenges, Standard Practices and Knowledge Sharing. This position requires someone with breadth and depth of technical knowledge and experienceas well as excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements

• BSc. in Reservoir/Petroleum/Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Ph.D. is preferable.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• 15 to 20 years in technical discipline (relevant to jobscope), of which 8 years as specialist role or 3 years in a leadership position related to production optimization.
• Track record in maturing and applying new or uncommon technologies
• Subject matter publications.

Aditional Details

• Minimal – regular walking, standing, and 80% air conditioned office keyboard use for up to 70% of thework day
• 20% field visits
