Job Purpose:

Provides Process Engineering input to the New Field Projects ensuring that the Asset and expectations are fully addressed at all stages of the projects in close coordination with the Project Management Teams (PMT) and Project Management Consultants (PMC). Provides Process Engineering support to asset operation and maintenance teams to ensure continuous, efficient and safe operations during the Operation Phase of the project.

Principal Accountabilities

Provides process Engineering input to the development and updating of Operation, maintenance and Integrity (OMI) Philosophies of the projects.

Reviews and provides technical inputs to the project documents during all stages of the project to ensure that project requirements are satisfied in terms of process design functionality, technical Integrity, Safety, Operability and maintainability for all foreseeable operating modes.

Reviews Conceptual studies for new projects including selection of options. Project process and control philosophy documents.

Reviews Process of Design basis, process control narratives, location studies, block diagram, process I Utility flow diagram, heat and mass balance, Piping and instrumentation Diagrams, Safe charts, Cause and Effect Charts, reliability and availability studies, equipment datasheets etc.

Reviews Process of optimization studies. Process simulation I gas dispersion I flare radiation models and simulation results.

Reviews Process of specifications I datasheets of equipment I instruments. Equipment layouts, hazardous are classification, safety equipment layout I escape routes. Pre - commissioning, commissioning, start- up and performance test procedures.

Participates in PFD, P & ID, 3D Model review sessions, HAZOP/ SIL I HAZID I PHSER I QRA Workshops/ Reviews/ Closeout Sessions, Value Engineering sessions, FAT/SAT.

Provides Technical input to Operating Manual and Procedures.

Ensures in Liaison with ADMA-OPCO DED Process Engineering Team that and other relevant process engineering codes and standards are adhered to by the projects.

Participates in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance test activities and analyze the size data to ensure the project process objectives are met and are in line with the project intent. Apply lessons learned from previous experience to improve the value of the projects.

During Operation phase study I suggest I implement plant modifications to optimize I enhance plant operations and safety aspects. Monitor operational performance of plant and equipment and suggest I implement ways to troubleshoot inefficient operation.

Develops UAE Junior Engineers as Mentor I Coach I Assessors as per CAMS program 

Works in line with HSE policy, and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.

Minimum Reguirements [Knowledge Skills & Exl!erience]:

Bachelor Degree in relevant Chemical Engineering or equivalent

5-6 years experience in Process Engineering I Operations of OiV petrochemical production I processing plants. Good working knowledge of industry codes and standards, HSE requirements, process engineering software. Good working knowledge of project management processes and EPC environment.\

Proficient in English .
