Job Details

The PE BU Quality Leader will have the responsibility to manage and improve product and manufacturing process quality. The role will report to the EMEA Quality Leader. The PE BU Quality Leader will be responsible for multi plants for LV, MV equipment and enclosures. In addition , supplier quality and engineering/technology quality task leadership belongs to the scope


Essential Responsibilities: 
Have full accountability for OP Cost of Quality, T-NPS, IR response time, EX PPM and QMS integrity. 
Ensure support for scrap and rework, obsolescence total and receivables losses. Support the plant to define the action plans to get operational G&O’s, better define scrap , obsolescence and receivable losses coverage in CoQ 
Plan and support to co-orderinate manufacturing quality control activities to meet the internal and external PPM measurement for the product line in the plant . Continue to support on-going proactive process control and put L1, L2, L3 and L4 targets in place in the plants. 
Lead RCA executed by plant quality and design quality teams. Ensure that preventive and corrective actions are related to the customer CTQ’s, speed of response and established targets or the product lines in the plant. 
Accurate documentation and ownership of CAR’s and RCA’s. Leading the product re-design and connect to the technology processes where product concept changes are required thru the Systems Engineer of the product line. 
Production stops when serious issues occur. Lead MFG quality issues , including NC material handling and daily inspection. 
Lead issue resolution of transportation and wrong shipment issues. Support the logistics / transportation teams till issues are solved and aligned with the customer. 
Be involved in long-term SII planning, and contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the product line. Support I&E budgets for plant and product lines, RTP budget. Own product return cost. 
Issue and maintain quality procedures in the plant , and assure compliance with the QMS guidelines . 
Plan and execute internal quality audits on products and processes . Report on quality system status and performance results in the plant 
Lead operating mechanism to track the BU / product lines progress with the involved functions. Report out the quality piece during the BU reviews from the customer perspective and quality team G&O’s. 
Ensure appropriate training is planned and performed for the quality team in the plant.

Job requirements

BA or BS Degree in engineering, business management or equivalent experience 
10+ Years of experience in power equipment industry 
Minimum of 5 years experience leading teams , preference in Quality 
Green Belt certified is optional 
Excellent influencing, oral and written communication skills. 
Must have a thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems 
Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem solving skills 
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: 
ISO 9001 implementation experience 
Advanced Degree in Management or Engineering 
Training and experience with Root Cause Analysis, Quality Auditing, Change Acceleration Process, Continuous Improvement, and Document Control.
