BASIC FUNCTION

Safe operation of their assigned machine in all aspects of the packing process.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Operates in a safe manner and monitors the following packing lines in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures.

·         Bagging machine, palletizers, and stretch hood machines, Big Bag filling machine, Bulk containers loading machine

·         Physically unloads and stores packing materials in the warehouse whenever required as well as prepares the same for subsequent consumption using hand pallet truck.

·         Performs silos washing and prevents contamination thereof by strictly adhering to related standard operating procedures.

·         Takes sample from storage silos / packing lines whenever required and sends to the laboratory whenever required.

·         Logs all activities on the logbook and maintains smooth transition during shift change.

·         Ensures quality of packed product is of high standard.

·         Disposes various wastes produced during packing operation in accordance with applicable SHEQ procedures on waste disposal.

·         Maintains good housekeeping level all the times at the workplaces.

Minimum Qualifications

·         High school or secondary education

·         Minimum of three years similar experience

·         Good knowledge of FFS packing lines

·         Excellent skill in written and spoken English

·         Relevant safety training from recognized organizations

·         Knowledge of First Line Maintenance

·         Basic computer skills

·         Physically fit
