BASIC FUNCTION

This position’s main responsibility is to create and implement comprehensive operations standard procedures and implement same considering efficiency, Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance guidelines and COMPANY HSEQ regulations.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily planning of terminal operations at quays including feeder’s stowage plan, yards, gates, warehouses and at loading points of silos and autoloaders.

Supervise and monitor daily equipment tests 

Ensure timely completion of first line maintenance activities and the availability of equipment for all operational requirement

Supervise , approve and follow up planners daily activities

Strictly comply with the relevant QA/ HSE requirements

Supervise and follow up a” House-keeping functions in all work area

 

Minimum Qualifications

1. Engineering or Bachelors/ shipping 880 or Mariner Degree Holder with remarkable scholastic record.

2. 10 years professional experience in ports and container terminal operations with last 3 years in middle management operation positions at containers terminal.

3. Strong safety background.

4. Excellent written and oral communications skill.

5. Can handle pressure and willing to work long hours

6. Astute business acumen.

7. Has the ability to deal with people from all levels of the organization.
