Job Purpose:

·   Leads Operations, Maintenance and Commissioning involvement in the Projects on site that includes Early civil works and accommodation facilities on site from Detailed Engineering to commissioning, Startups and normal operations taking into account compay HSE standards/ regulations and company standards, specifications and guidelines. 

·      Represents Company Business Unit for leading and maintaining close coordination with the Project Management Team (PMT) and Project Management Consultant (PMC) to ensures operations interests and expectations are fully addressed, represented and covered in all aspects of the project and throughout the project life cycle in line with Value Assurance Process (VAP).

Principal Accountabilities: 

• Leads a multi discipline team in the preparations and developments of the Operations, Maintenance and Integrity (OMI) for the project and ensures it is in line with the SOW and the project team updates the issues in line with the project progress. Ensures Company  standards, Specifications and Guidelines are implemented in the Projects.
• Leads to ensures reviews are adequately done and necessary input are provided in all safety, process & operations documents Location studies, Design Basis, PFD's, P&ID's, 3-D Models, DCS control narratives, ESD and F&G, Cause & Effects charts, Heat and Mass Balance, Mechanical, Process and Instrument data sheets.
• Provides advices, recommendations reflecting operations and Maintenance experience in the areas of Operations, Process, Operability and Maintainability of the SARB facilities. Ensures that the operability, maintainability and integrity of the facilities and the mechanical handling are covered during the design and the construction phases.
• Leads the coordination with PMT to ensures all designs and engineering documents and 3D reviews as well as all operational and Maintenance related issues like approachability, accessibility and maintainability are addressed during the Engineering, Procurement, fabrications and constructions phase as per Company Guidelines/ Standards.
• Provides operational/ professional advices and supports during participations in all HSE Reviews HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, PEER, PHSER and RAM and ensures all HSE issues affecting operations are adequately addressed and closed out.
• Utilizes lessons learnt (major problems) from previous I ongoing projects and site activities/ experience to ensure the project is appropriately executed to the required quality, within the expectations of the Assets.
• Assists in ensures marines spread vessels and barges documentations, anchor patterns and various activities are well coordinated with Logistics and site authorities and relevant risks assessments are properly conducted.
• Leads the Assets Commissioning Team and conducts the preparations of the commissioning activities in close co-ordination with the project commissioning Team. Also witness and approve all the Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Starts Up activities according to the approved Operations Readiness Matrix.
• Ensures the commissioning resources are fully and duly available through proper co-ordinations with the SARB Operations & Commissioning Manager and SARB Field Manager.
• Leads participations in the Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Starts Up and Performance Acceptance Test Procedures for the various systems. Participates in the developments and the implementations of the interface procedures to minimize the business interruption, to ensure effective tie INS and Interfacing with Drilling activities (SIMOPS) phase one of UL facilities.
• Ensures in conjunctions with operations that the appointed EPC Contractor's plans and procedures for the installation, hookups, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the new facilities are in line with agreed philosophy and that the Operation's involvement is provided till the final handover of the project.
• In co-ordinations with HR, develops the Operations and Maintenance Organizations Structure and complete the selection/ recruitment of the 0 & M workforce.
• Ensures that Vendor/ In house training programs for the Operations and Maintenance personnel are developed and trainings are imparted effectively both before and after the handover. Also plans for the structured developments I familiarizations programs of assigned UAE National employees with proper supports from the discipline Team Leader.
• Ensures Operating and Maintenance Manuals, Startup and commissioning procedures, Operating Procedures and Emergency procedures for the facilities are developed and approved.
• Participates with PMT and EPC Contractor in the preparations and implementations of the preservations approved methodologies for the Sub-sea Pipelines and unused equipment and de-commissioning when ready for commissioning for successful conclusion of the project. 
• Leads the Care and Custody transfer of the Site Accommodation facilities and Artificial Island drilling supports facilities handover procedures/certificates between the Project Team and Operations Team.
• Co-ordinations with supports teams Ensures all Assets are fully and accurately registered in MAXIMO complete with all required attributes, in particular the Routine Maintenance Programs and Procedures prior to Starts Up.
• Ensures that the Contractor prepares Insurance spare parts list, the Commissioning spares
  parts list and the 2 years Operations spare parts list and are recorded/registered within the Company Asset Management System (AMS).
• Leads as Site authority for both the Artificial Islands and performs as Incident Commander
  during Emergency with close coordination with Drilling and EPC Contractors.

Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:

• Degree in relevant engineering discipline such as Petroleum I Chemical or Control I Mechanical.
• 10 - 12 years relevant work experience in operations and maintenance functions of the petroleum industry. At least 5 years in managerial level position.
• Knowledge of project and marine I logistics operations, planning techniques and people management skills. Ability to work as part of a team at varying environments.
• Very good knowledge of English, PC Skills.

Preference given to Candidates with Offshore work Experience and who can join immediately
