Job Purpose:
Supervise lifting activities on the asset, ensuring they are completed safely and according to ADMA OPCO lifting standards.
Review each Lifting Plan issued by the contractors I Subcontractors, including the PTW, when Lifting Plans are to be included.
Verify that all the Lifting Equipment and devices have been inspected, pre-mobilised and certified by an independent third body.
Ensure delivery of a safe and efficient lifting service across the asset.
Coordinating and making effective use of available resources.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Ensure the lifting equipment operator(s) and the lifting equipment has the necessary valid certification(s) for the specific lifting task, in coordination with the QC Team.
• Coordinate available resources to provide a safe and efficient lifting service which meets the requirements of Operations, maintenance and projects.
• Supervise and coordinate Lifting activities in all site areas
• Give the required technical assistance on lifting to Project Site Representative and Maintenance Teams.
• Assist the Management Team to ensure compliance with company safety objectives
• Assist the Site Construction supervision team, in order to achieve a proper control of all contractors' activities and work for all areas and disciplines, lifting wise
• Assess the seriousness and urgency of possible problems encountered by or with contractor, and, when necessary, to obtain an acceptable remedial actions plan from contractor,
• Prepare and participate in the weekly and, when concerned, ad-hoc meetings with contractors performing project work on site.
• Maintain good relationships with contractors and with JV project Teams
• Follow any interface questions between contractors on site and to co-ordinate with the relevant project supervisory team members in that respect to minimize possible impact on or disruption of the work,
• Apply company policies, rules, procedures and General Specification (GS).
• Support and enforce the group codes of conduct, and policies
• Support the project HSEQ management system (objectives, directives, plan, procedures, and specifications) in particular the close follow-up of all information related to lifting.
• Report any unsafe acts or conditions observed.
• To review PTW and attend daily permit meetings.
