Job Details

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    ·         Provide assistance to Company Corrosion Engineer in executing all designated Corrosion Engineer activities as specified in Company Corrosion Management System (CMS) manual.
    ·         Monitor all corrosion management activities being performed by assigned company and contractor technicians and ensure compliance to schedule and quality of services
    ·         Follow-up to ensure that all corrosion control and monitoring data is entered in the Company data base within the specified time frame as per CMS, verify the data and provide periodic reports to Company Corrosion Engineer in agreed format
    ·         Deal with problems or issues pertaining to corrosion control and monitoring
    ·         Submit periodic status reports of assigned corrosion management activities and KPIs in agreed format to Company Corrosion Engineer referring to corrosion management plan and CMS
    ·         Perform periodic reviews of the corrosion monitoring programs including items such as monitoring activities, locations, types of elements and frequencies and the specification of corrosion monitoring materials, to ensure that the implemented programs comply with Company requirements and Standards
    ·         Monitor the inventory of corrosion monitoring materials, tools and accessories and initiate procurement activities in consultation with Company Corrosion Engineer to ensure materials availability
    ·         Conduct preliminary evaluation and analysis of corrosion data and report findings in agreed format to Company Corrosion Engineer
    ·         Conduct pigs inspection, report findings and follow-up pig maintenance and refurbishment of the pigs
    The minimum requirements are:
    ·         Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science (Metallurgy/Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical) Working knowledge of work described in Section 3
    ·         Minimum 5 years' experience in executing corrosion control and monitoring, chemical treatment, cathodic protection and other related activities of corrosion management in upstream oil and gas facilities.
    ·         NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist certification or NACE CP II or equivalent certification
    ·         PC skills and experience with respect to data review, trending and analysis, and preparation and presentation of technical reports in addition to data entry, data compilation and report generation
