ROLE PURPOSE
Assess employee health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled employees on the site. May advise employees on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Review, evaluate, and analyse work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. May conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of Compnay employees.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operational Activities
Provide all aspects of nursing care to employees based on the standards of practice and ethical codes set forth by HAAD (Health Authority Abu Dhabi) and Company rules and regulations.
Promote employees optimum health and well-being by Identifying, promoting, assisting and educating employees to understand major determinants of health, health risk factors, and encourage strategies to develop a healthy living behavior.
Establish and implement health promotion strategies for early detection and screening of diseases, reduce the risk of transmission and utilize the nursing process to promote employees health and well-being.
Assist in promoting a working environment that maximizes employee safety through identifying occupational, environmental and behavioral factors which may compromise their health and safety. Support and implement appropriate actions to reduce occupational health risks and hazards, and follow-up on incidents to reduce the likelihood of re-occurrence.
Help manage and maintain the clinic and ambulance along with all the necessary equipment’s being utilized
Maintains an employee data base of all medical records and related documents to facilitate proper documentation, monitoring, review and evaluation of their health status. Ensure patients privacy and confidentiality of treatment and their condition.
Actively seeks new knowledge and information to ensure ongoing professional development and competency to practice in order to provide quality healthcare services to all employees.
Work together with the healthcare team and the company to achieve the goal of providing quality services to all employees.
Observe and comply with the company rules and regulations.
Contacts with all levels of employees for providing first-aid and basic medical assistance. Contacts as necessary with hospital medical staff or follow-up on patients' progress during illness and hospitalization.
Contact with pharmacies for requesting key items and medications. Regular contacts with HSE regarding health risks prevention, accident analysis and medical response matters.

Relationship Management
Develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal sections and tenants to ensure effective medical aid initiatives with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.

Promotes continuous improvement of knowledge base, cost-consciousness, and Quality and Safety Procedures taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

MIS & Reports
Document and maintain all reports pertaining to medic activities on a daily basis
All reports are prepared timely & accurately & meet Company policies & requirements.

Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Conduct all business activities in accordance to Company HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Company Core Values.
FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
Medic reports to the Senior Medic and confers with the latter on critical and strategic issues.
Key decisions having significant impact on the established functions are referred to the Manager, HSSEQ Division for approval before implementation.
The jobholder exercises financial authority as per the level established by Compnay management

Knowledge,SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge:
§ Completion of Secondary education (12 years) plus three years' full-time training including certification as a Registered Nurse (SRN (UK) equivalent).
§ 3 years' nursing experience and HAAD RN License
Skills:
§ Very good skills in crisis management
§ Good knowledge of Arabic & English
§ Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
§ Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced setting.
§ Excellent and proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills across cultural and company boundaries.

§ Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
