Job Purpose
Manages, directs and supervises the mechanical planned maintenance (PM), major overhaul, repairs and troubleshooting activities for all rotating machinery, static plant and general equipment within the Gas Gathering (GGII) and Gas Injection (GIP), Collector Separator (CSP), Gas Processing Facility (GPF), Riser & Main Oil Line Platforms
Principal Accountabilities:
Utilizes the Oracle system to plan, schedule, execute and record historical data for all classes of mechanical works.
Directs and supervises as necessary all mechanical activities. Oversees the major overhaul of all rotating equipment and inspections/ overhaul of static plants during planned shutdowns.
Maintains close and continuous liaisons with other Discipline Sections on the Super Complex to co-ordinate schedule and implement maintenance works.
Assists in the preparation of detailed work scopes and plans for the implementation of major maintenance activities on both static plants and rotating equipment.
Originates Material Requisitions and Purchase Requests for spare parts and consumables.
Provides Technical advice to both the Purchasing and Material Sections.
Initiates, evaluates and implements Plant Modifications (PMR's) for mechanical equipment.
Provides technical advice to Supervisors and undertakes the diagnosis and repairs of major faults and breakdowns.
Plays a major ro le in the onsite training of the crafts level to UAE National Employees.
Develops training exercises and assesses development progress and competency.
Assists in the developments of RCM maintenance system. Reviews plant and rotating equipment performance and makes maintenance recommendations.
Reviews and comments on major I minor schemes and work packages prepared by onshore
Works in line with HSE policy and ensures awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates
Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
5 - 6 years' experience and relevant post graduate training.
Proficient in English.
