BASIC FUNCTION

Supervises the First Line maintenance of all rolling and lifting equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSlBILITIES

Ensure timely completion of daily tests and first line maintenance activities and the availability of equipment according to the operational requirements.

Prepares a comprehensive first line maintenance schedule for all site equipment.

Catalogues and disseminates operating instructions manual to all users to help ensure proper and safe handling of equipment. CONTRACTOR is responsible for operating all equipment in full compliance with the manufacturer‘s manuals. Such manuals will be made available to CONTRACTOR but COMPANY will not be responsible for distributing all relevant information to CONTRACTOR's staff and ensuring compliance.

Monitors stockings of tools, fluids, lubricants and consumables as provided for first line maintenance.

Assists in technically evaluating potential suppliers, if required by Company.

Ensure strict compliance of HSE policies especiaHy on the disposal of industrial wastes.

General House-keeping in all work area

Minimum Qualifications

College graduate preferably Mechanical Engineering

5 years previous experience in performing repairs and maintenance on similar types of equipment at Container Terminals.

Above average English skills

Ability to read technical drawings

At least 20 hours of training from recognized safety organizations — A recognized safety organization is a company registered to do business in Abu Dhabi and licensed by the relevant authorities to provide safety training and has trainers with the appropriate qualifications.

Advanced computer skills

Willing to work long hours

Physically fit
