BASIC FUNCTION

Assists the Maintenance Technician in carrying out first line maintenance of all terminals equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures that equipment is clean before turning them back to the operators after maintenance is done.

Carries heavy tools and other equipment necessary in performing maintenance works.

Assists Company representatives and personnel in carrying out job-related tasks as long as these do not interfere with his normal duty.

Performs general housekeeping duties in their work area.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High School (secondary) Diploma/ Certificate

2. 1 year previous experience preferab!y in a port services r‘ompany

3. Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment

4. Basic knowledge of written and spoken English

5. Understands port safety regulations and procedures

6. Physically fit, no fear of heights and able to pass full medical examination
