Supervise the provision of inspection and maintenance - services and facilities - for Satah Offshore plants and Arzanah Onshore Operations. Participate in the planning, development and implementation of maintenance programs, modifications, enhancements and replacements to the site equipment to improve overall cost effectiveness and to ensure its continued functionality. Continuous assessment of equipments and systems performance to maintain acceptable industrial reliability standards and fit to meet production sustainability requirements. |

Principal Accountabilities | ||
a. Supervises a multidiscipline team for rotating and static asset inspections and mechanical maintenance works, as well as general services activities team including fabrication, painting, scaffolding, lifting and rigging, heavy lifting equipments, and concrete civil works. Ensure proper utilization of resources to provide efficient service for the facilities. b. Participates in the preparation, and ensures the implementation of detailed maintenance work programs and schedules that will ensure agreed objectives are achieved. c. Ensures that maintenance work is carried out in a safe manner and strictly adhering with company HSE system and procedures along with good housekeeping practices. Participates in regular safety and housekeeping audits and ensure actions are diligently implemented. d. Ensure that maintenance procedures are implemented. Ensure implementation of the computer base maintenance system to provide a follow-up recording facility for preventive and routine maintenance schedules. e. Ensures that employees are organized, trained and motivated in order to effectively implement agreed plans. f. Liaises with production personnel on shutdown schedules for inspection, maintenance, overhaul and the implementation of correct maintenance procedures for subsequent repair and servicing of plant and equipment. g. Reviews critical items to ensures adequate supplies are available for the operation. Participates in reviews of changes or modifications to stock levels and materials used. h. Prepares and seeks approval for detailed expenditures to enable the viable operation of the service, and to control expenditure against agreed budgets and within approved authority limits.i. Liaises with functional departments in Abu Dhabi on standard and planning of maintenance of existing and proposed equipment and facilities. Identifies problem areas, equipment or machinery, recommending changes in equipment or spare part or in the scope and frequency of the maintenance. j. Ensure proper follow-up and monitor the training, development and integration of UAE national, in line with company policy. k. Identify shortfall material and prepare DTR/LVP Requisitions (MAXIMO) in liaison closely with CM , Field Stores and get approval from Team Leader. Receive material and dispatch to site. Confirm receipt and formalize documents as per procedure. l. Analyze equipment failure and site defect reports investigating alternative approaches to ensure that satisfactory technical and operational solutions are found and implemented, m. Contribute in risk analysis to identify Risk issues and recommend appropriate mitigation actions. Identification and analysis of complications and problems and recommend suitable remedies. n. Provide support with regard to the required inspection, fault analysis, repair/remedial strategy and acceptance testing of equipment returned for investigation repair and/or overhaul o. Maintaining integrity and safe operation of existing plant p. Participate in technical input/approval for proposed modifications and Ensure that all Plant modifications are carried out as per company facility change procedure q. Participation in FAT - Factory Acceptance Tests - and SAT - Site Acceptance Tests. Liaise with equipment vendors to solve repair problems, upgrade older equipment, to replace obsolete items. Inspect final deliverables in projects and services and issue job tickets and PAC – provisional acceptance certificates – accordingly. r. Review project documents. Contribute and participate to provides technical support and advice on projects to participate in provide expert ‘know how’ of mechanical engineering, to ensure that projects are completed & hand-over to the required quality, schedule and cost. s. Contributes to the development and definition of small project parameters (such as defining scope of work, schedule and completion and budgetary cost estimates) to ensures that projects are properly planned and meet site requirements. t. Contribute in engineering support and supervision during Projects executed by “Engineering & Projects” department to Ensure that all work/installation schemes for both onshore & offshore scope are designed to be carried out in a safe manner. u. Participate in Supervise and monitor of performance of Contractors for the projects at site. v. Participates in the planning and coordination of works performed by contractors and vendors representatives. Liaises with Maintenance Engineering Service Abu Dhabi and assist in drafting contracts by outlining the scope, expected period of work, and the amount of qualified of personnel required. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company codes, standard and procedures. w. Participate in coaching and guiding of local developees of supervisors and electricians and ensure that all performance criteria of CAMS, PDP, and CAS are covered and attend assessment panels, gap analysis session, ways for mitigation and corrective actions. Supervise and follow up SVQ vocational program of all subordinates. |

Qualification & Experience | ||
a. B.Sc. in engineering, Preference is Mechanical engineering. b. 10 years engineering and maintenance experience including at least 3-5 years supervisory operational position, in the oil industry of multi-craft, multi-national crew is recommended. c. Good command of English language. d. Good knowledge of International Standards and Codes, particularly Quality Management Systems related to the oil and gas industry. e. Should have Experience in the following fields: Computer literate, including hands-on experience as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook). Trouble shooting of rotating equipments and stationary equipment Mechanical, lifting equipment, Painting, Scaffolding and civil activities f. knowledge of contract Management and administration. g. Certified SQA A1 assessor. |

Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts) | ||
Regular contacts at own or next higher level in own department, and at own level in Other departments to coordinate work, and to exchange advice or information. Coordinates with various departments in Abu Dhabi e.g. SU-FEMS, OS-Fl, OS-MS, HSE, LG, CM, and IT, using company electronic and conventional mail system. Interaction with Project team, business units, ZADCO IT and HSE Department representatives, Contractors and Vendors technical personnel, independent third party design verification agency and others as required. |

Works according to planned maintenance programs and operational requirements, keeps line managers informed through regular maintenance meetings and written reports. Work accomplishments are subject to review. Exercises discretion in determining own work methods, in accordance with established polices and professional standards. Performs work according to technical standards and ZADCO Procedures. Work is subject to review and direction. Shall be capable of functioning with high degree of independence in areas of his expertise. However, the respective Team Leader will supervise his work. The Maintenance Engineer must be fully confident in his dealings with the various external parties specially the third party, contractor and Vendor personnel. |
