Basic Function and Scope:
- Coordinate and perform duties related to the job analysis and preparation of job descriptions and obtaining necessary approvals from concerned managers. Other related activities including:-
- Assistance to Line Management on all matters related to preparation of job descriptions and Job Evaluations.
- Participate in special studies/analysis on job evaluation/grading and organizational structure.
Task, Duties and Accountabilities:
- Provide assistance in the preparation of job descriptions through job analysis and in line with the Company Group Policy and procedure.
- Study jobs performed and interview incumbents, supervisors and managers concerned to ascertain job requirements and tasks/responsibilities involved. Writes detailed job descriptions and descriptions from data obtained.
- Ensure that approved organizational structure is reflected in the job description i.e. reporting relationship, supervisory responsibility including number of sub-ordinates.
- Maintain all job descriptions ensuring the reflection of the actual duties and responsibilities involved and consistency of format style and minimum requirements prior to final approval by the Managers concerned.
- Maintain a database of all Job Descriptions prepared, to be developed and of Job Evaluation details for easy retrieval of data including required hard-copy records and files.
- Carry out comparative analysis of job functions, specifications, grades and other occupational data in relation to other jobs in the Company and within the Group Companies.
- Establish and update the database of job evaluation and grading, such as the Grade Level Matrix, maintenance of Benchmark Jobs, minimum qualifications, etc.
- Assist Senior Job Design & Evaluation Analyst in initial evaluation and ranking of all new jobs and reevaluations prior to submitting to the Job Evaluation Committee.
- Coordinate effectively to arrange meetings with various business divisions and the Job Evaluation Committee Members for scheduling the Job Evaluation Meetings
- Assist in preparing the minutes of the meeting with the JEC findings/ recommendations for General
- Management approval and the submission of cases recommended for Higher Grade and above to HQ for ratification and inform concerned Managers/ VPs of the results.
- Provide Recruitment team with the approved grades, title, minimum requirements and job synopsis/descriptions to ensure they are correctly reflected in the recruitment requisitions.
- Advise Workforce Planning/Organization Development on the approved grades and title changes to ensure and maintain accuracy in the organization data.
- Provide opportunities for training and development of employees under his/her direction (with emphasis on UAE Nationals) and assesses their progress, this includes on-the-job training counseling and proper work delegation.
- Perform any other related assignments as advised by the management.
Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-6 years experience in HR with specific emphasis on job analysis/ evaluation, organizational structure.
- Knowledge of Hay Guide Chart Profile Methodology of Job Evaluation
- Excellent communication skills with emphasis on English writing skills.
- Excellent planning & organizing skills
Problem Solving & Job Complexity:
- Apply body of broad technical knowledge and experience at a more advanced level, including the development of areas of specialist expertise. Accuracy in information, maintenance of huge amount of data including numbers is involved
