JOB PURPOSE:

To review HSE & Welfare aspects related to Management of Contractor HSE throughout the life cycle of contracts HSE. Ensures necessary support is extended to End users, Procurement Division, Asset HSE Teams,Contractors and vendors as required.

Mentor UAE National Colleagues on the life cycle ofManagement of Contractor HSE and Welfare

Performs activities in line with Corporate HSE policies,procedures and set guidelines and maintain documentation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

HSE PROCEDURES AND GUIDELINES

• Support in development of procedures and guidelines and seek approval from CHSE Management
• Provide awareness and Training to new entrants to the division/unit and UAE National colleagues to integrate them into the business.
• Develop and update Company HSE Policies, Procedures, Compliance Checklists and quick guidance reference for Management of Contractor HSE & Welfare to ensure compliances with Company.

HSE PRE-QUALIFICATION

• Review and update HSE Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and support Company and other stakeholders
• Conduct HSE Pre-Qualification for the new suppliers
• Guide the new suppliers on HSE prequalification process to enhance the availabilityof competitive bidders for the Company in various work groups.
• Provide awareness to new suppliers on the process of HSE prequalification and ensure relevant documents are submitted for review.
• Conduct clarifications as required and site audits where required

HSE AND WELFARE REQUIREMENTS IN CONTRACTS

• Reviews cope of work and identify HSE and welfare requirements to be stipulated in the contract agreements.
• Support End users and procurement on the HSE and welfare aspects
• Ensurefunctional review is conducted as requested by End users to verify that the HSEand Welfare requirements as specified are in the final version of the documents

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualification

• BSc. in Engineering discipline or equivalent
• Internationally recognized certification in HSE, recognized safety qualification preferable.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with International Operator Company in HSE Management within the oil/gas production/ operations orpetrochemical industry.
