This position is responsible for assisting in the development and preparation of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs balance sheet account analyses, journal entries and reviews expense accounts.
Works accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with many assignments subject to critical deadlines that must be achieved.
Works independently or with teammates with minimal supervision. Possesses the ability to seek out ways to improve processes and measure inefficiencies.
Creates or updates departments accounting procedure documentation.
Creates and maintains reconciliation spreadsheets of general ledger activities.
Fulfills requests for accounting data and answers questions from departments on performance reports.
Performs reviews, analysis, research and other related duties independently or as requested by Financial Services Manager or Director. Prepares, examines and analyzes accounting records and financial statements to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Analyzes business operations to project future revenues and expenses
Develops, maintains and analyzes budgets
Analyzes accounts and reconciles supporting schedules
Develops and documents recordkeeping and accounting systems
Performs statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates and significant financial shifts/changes
Determines the proper handling of financial transactions
Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
Prepares ad hoc reports as requested
Maintain PDC ledger. Ensure that it is reconciled with the sales ledger and with bank statements.
Coordinate with auditors to ensure that the annual audit is carried out without any inconsistency and disruption. Complete post audit entries and close audit chapter for the year.
Coordinate with banks for bank facility letters, statements and other relevant works to ensure proper filing.
Ensure receipt of bills from all farms and houses under personal use of the company and ensure timely payments.
Ensure timely, accurate and proper insurance renewal of all company properties, vehicles and assets.
Maintain the mortgage accounts with various finance institutes.
Initiate and handle mortgage buyout plans through various banks to ensure the company cut costs. This includes preparing comparison and feasibility reports, providing and organizing required supporting documents to the banks.
Implement, maintain system for purchase orders for all company properties and companies and ensure all goods are received on timely basis and delivered to the concerned persons.
Implement and maintain petty cash disbursement acquisition system, for release of funds to companies as per approved purchase requisitions.
Maintain and follow up on expires of AMCs for the company.
Ensure reconciliation of Noqodi e-cash account and Ejari account.
Control all Payables and Receivables. Ensure smooth cash inflow and our flow, receipt and payments and income and expenditures.
Monitor the collection from customers and ensure the dues are all collected in time.
Make sure that all the records required for the collection are filed and preserved neatly and safely.
Review all the customer account regularly and propose about the action to be taken to recover the overdue bills from the defaulting customers.
When required, prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
Maintain financial security by following internal controls.

Prepare periodic individual and consolidated cost management reports and related reports within the deadlines
Work with the Finance Manager and account team to prepare budgets, forecasts and projections
Prepare cost and margin analysis, KPIs and other reports as required
Ensure continuous process and improvements as well as other related functional areas.
Liaise with external auditors for smooth completion of annual audit
Manage VAT and other indirect taxation, insurance of assets and inventory etc.
Report to the Finance Manager and assist with the details required for the management.

Minimum Qualification
Degree in Cost Accountancy or similar Management Accountancy (with Attested Certificate)
More than 5 years experience in Accounts/Finance (a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst) in a Manufacturing Environment.
Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
Computer Literate Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word.
Experience working with Multiple Groups Companies on development and analysis of cost standards
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
