BASIC FUNCTION

Operates forklifts for the purpose of moving raw materials and finished products between the container lining station, packing area, warehouse and yard operations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. safety codes are followed, to prevent injury to all personnel and damage to equipment.

2 Carry out all routine pre and post inspection on equipment for operational conditions and ensure any defects are reported immediately.

3 Report immediately any safety hazards during operations and if necessary stop until such are rectified.

4. Report immediately any damage sustained during operations by equipment.

5. Report immediately any equipment malfunction and assists maintenance when necessary.

6. Report immediately any damage sustained during operations by eqUipment.

7. Follow work queue instructions & adhere to speed limits & traffic flow regulations.

8 Ensure equipment has sufficient fuel at all times and adhere to refueling schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

1. At least High School diploma

2. 5 years relevant experience

3. Must possess driver’s license issued by the local authority.

4. Basic knowledge of First Line Maintenance.

5. Should have completed at least 30 hours of relevant training from credible Safety

6. organizations; certificates of attendance/completion required.

7. Physically fit; no fear of heights and must possess excellent sensory acuity.

8. Excellent skill in written and spoken English
