The Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations (ADNOC ONSHORE) functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters of Abu Dhabi.

The Company was incorporated in 1978 to oversee operations in onshore concession areas covering approximately 21,000 square kilometers including five of the most important mainland oilfields in the region. During the first quarter of 2006, the inauguration of the North East BAB has been started.

JOB PURPOSE :

Designated asspecialist in the area of flow assurance. Provides solutions to all assets onflow assurance challenges to ensure uninterrupted flow from reservoir all theway to surface facilities. Leads studies related to multi-phase flow behaviour,hydrates, asphaltenes, wax, scale and corrosion inhibition and liaises withEngineering to ensure proper implementation of flow assurance strategies.Provides technical support, advisory and training to ADCO staff. Acts astechnical authority in domain of flow assurance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Representstechnical authority for all Flow Assurance matters within ADCO.

Definesstandards for Flow Assurance strategies and procedures in the assets.

Supportsassets in Flow Assurance studies, simulation, mitigation strategies and liaiseswith other disciplines for applicable engineering interfaces.

Identifiesflow assurance challenges across all assets and implements new technologies andworkflows.

Captures flowassurance related lessons learned / best practices and ensures theircommunication across assets.

Participatesdirectly and indirectly in technical staff development (training, coaching,career development…)

Plan,supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functionalobjectives.

Train anddevelop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to becomeproficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Provide inputfor preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in theimplementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Sectionobjectives.

Implementapproved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and proceduresin order to support execution of the Section’s / Department work programs inline with Company and International standards.

Contribute tothe achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section /Department in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Design andimplement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency ofoperational processes.

Identifyimprovements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greaterefficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutionsfor issues confronting the function .

Comply withrelevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation andsustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practicesand ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports

Provide inputsto prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management .

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

MinimumQualification

B.Sc. degree inpetro-technical discipline, advanced degree is preferable.

Excellent spoken and writtenEnglish.

MinimumExperience & Knowledge & Skills

15 years ofoil industry experience, of which 5 years in a flow assurance specialist role.International experience is preferable.

Track recordin maturing and applying new technologies and participation in R& Dprojects.
