EXPERT PETROPHYSICIST

Brief Description

Plans, supervises, coordinates and controls the collection,analysis and evaluation of petrophysical data necessary to predict the presence of hydrocarbons (oil & gas) in wells for calculations of oil and gas reserves and for reservoir studies in order to assist in formulating appropriate field development plans.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• BSc. in Petrophsicist/Geology/ or in Petroleum Engineering
• 10 years industry experience, with preferably not less than 6 years as Petrophsicist

Technical Competencies:

• Works independently while guided by the overall corporate strategy, companyobjectives and policies.
• Utilizes interdisciplinary data, builds integrated earth models to optimize drilling and help reservoir characterization and simulation studies.
• Technical mentor to other petroleum/ Geosciences staff and fresh graduates.
