Purpose:
Develops, implements, and manages employee's welfare assurance/control program. Setting up and maintaining controls and dociunentation procedures. Collects..., analyses, and reports overall results, thclu.g trends, for employee welfare. Provides expert direction on resolution of issues
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Identifying Psychosocial needs of employees. rendering Counselling Servic. to employees on their personal, familial. emotional. health, work and stress related areas.
- Formation of Welfare Committee and administration of employee welfare schemes at divisional level.
- Handling Employee grievances and addressing their needs. Conducting social interactive programs, small group activities, educative cum awareness programs and training programs on self- developmental aspects of employees. Initiating, designing and implementing Corporate Social Responsibility activities at divisional level.
- Providing Comprehensive Counselling (Exit Interviews) services for the employees.
- Providing need based Rehabilitative services to the employees and families.
- Conducting research studies on various psycho- social aspects of employees/ organization.
- Formulating Welfare policy that influence human dynamics of the organization
- Directs welfare activities for employees. arranges for physical examinations, first aid, and other medical attention.
- Monitor employee Welfare performance by identifying leading and lagging Employee's Welfare performance indicators for the program
- Maintain a suitable recording rind reporting system to produce regular employee's Welfare performance reports. Track and monitor corrective actions to close-out.
- Develop and deliver an Employee's Welfare programs, establish. and maintain Employee's Welfare templates & produce all other internal Employee's Welfare reports as required.
- Support audits and inspections of employment practices and accommodation standards.
- Camp Visits, Camp Audit ensuring the basic provisions/amenities of camp to the Employee's
- Dealing the camp related complaints like cleaning. hygiene, food issues, transport issues. etc.
- Organizing health camps for employees providing health counselling to Employee's
- Conducting the General Enquiries on site and camp related complain. and ensuring the labour interests/rights Problem solving, Crisis management, Conflict resolution, Grievance Redressal
- Attending the health cases by hospital visits. diagnosis of the cases. follow-ups, and recommending for claims/reimbursement Organizing sports, recreational and cultural activities for employees (Sports Day, Labors Day, Cultural Programs. Competitions. etc.)
Skills Required:
- Sound Knowledge of Employee's welfare issues in the GCC and UAE Labour Law.
- Computer literate.
- Fluent in English (read, write and speak)
- Good problem-solving Skills
- Able to prioritize, organize and manage own work
- Demonstrate initiative in taking on extra tasks
- Effective communicator
