Carries out a variety of routine and preventive maintenance duties on low voltage electrical equipment and power system which includes the checking, servicing and repair of such items of equipment as generators, alarm systems, batteries, earthing system and general lighting.

Carries out a variety of routine and preventive maintenance duties on low voltage electrical equipment and power system which includes the checking, servicing and repair of such items of equipment as generators, alarm systems, batteries, earthing system and general lighting.
Principal Accountabilities:
Carries out electrical maintenance work on equipment such as alternators, electric motors, generators, battery banks & electrical switchboards/panels/area earthing.
Checks and maintains electric welding sets.
Carries out routine inspection and servicing of refrigerated food containers, laundry and kitchen equipment.
Checks batteries and recharge as necessary.
Supervises or checks the work carried out by Junior Electrical Technicians.
Performs other related duties as required.
Works on low voltage electrical equipment.
Works in line with HSE policy and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:
Secondary Education or Diploma in Electrical Discipline.
2 - 3 years' experience in electrical maintenance work in the oil or petrochemical industries.
Proficient in English.
