Develop, manage, maintain and improve all environment, health and safety systems across Company in line with national and international rules and regulations
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational
|
|||
o
Develop and manage Company environment,
health and safety program in order to get and maintain related certifications
and meet national and international rules and regulations
o
Adhere and comply with
OSHAD, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 and maintain organization documents
according to regulatory bodies.
o
Drive and leverage environment, health and safety
performance across Company and ensure that the employees have a
proper understanding of the workplace’s hazards and risks.
o
Develops and implements
inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
o
Develops health and safety
procedures for all areas of the company.
o
Assist with decisions related to planning, purchasing,
etc. In order to ensure that environment, health and safety requirements are
being met and adhered to
o
Liaise with the Company Emergency Services in order to
conduct investigations and audits that are related to environment, health and
safety checks across Company
o
Design and develop policies and procedures related to
environment, health and safety for the use of Company. They
usually aim at enhancing the peoples experience within the company as
well as at improving the working conditions
o
Raise awareness across company about the
importance to adhere to rules and regulations related to environment, health
and safety and about potential implications of non-conformity (e.g. loss of
certification, financial penalties, etc.)

o Participate in the
development, implementation and review of OHS policies, procedures,
management plans, guidelines, standard operation procedures, safe work method
statements and safe work procedures and other strategies as required.

People Management
|
|||
o
Conduct performance
appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommend
necessary actions as per the applied practices
o
Recommend training needs
for subordinates and evaluate the outcomes of training courses in
coordination with the concerned human resources personnel
|

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
|
|||
Minimum Education Required
o
Bachelor’s degree in a
relevant discipline (preferably in Engineering).
o
Environment, Health and
Safety Auditing Certification or other auditing certification
o
Aerodrome/Aviation
specific course related to EHS/auditing/compliance/regulatory frameworks
Professional Certifications Required
o
NEBOSH Certificate holder
or equivalent
o
Other certifications
related to discipline
Years of experience
o
Minimum of Seven (7) years
relevant experience
o
Experience in EHS incident investigations
and reporting.
o
Knowledge of National and International Environment,
Safety & Security regulations.
o Experience in assessing
work place hazards. |
