Job Details

Job duties:

• Responsibility of company’s overall performance of ship operation and chartering department
• To identify period chartering opportunities and evaluate potential returns of these vessels within the company’s bulk business.
• Commercially manage company’s dry bulk fleet to optimize revenue
• Ensure safe and smooth daily operations of vessels
• Communication between ship owners, cargo owners, on-board crew, ship brokers, etc.
• Experience in chartering container vessels
• Experience in post fixture operations of container vessels
• Extensive Chartering Operation experience within container vessel industry.
• Hhold an essential role in ensuring a high quality and flawless operation.

Requirement:

• University graduate from a recognized university or master mariner, with adequate chartering experience in containers & dry bulk shipping, from a reputed multinational ship owning / operating company.
• Additional qualification of MICS/ FICS will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the related field holding a position of command in a large multinational company handling fixtures and post fixtures, sound knowledge of CP,s with excellent operational, organization and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of the industry, in depth knowledge of diverse business functions of dry bulk & container.

Language Requirements

• Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications

• Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
