Description

Co-ordinates the activities of the warehouses operations, including receipt/storage/ issue and dispatch the requested materials to all offshore locations (Drilling and Operation).

Job Details

Principal Accountabilities:

Safety
  • Encourages and educates all Base employees including Marine employees to work safely using PPE and raise near miss reports as and when deemed necessary.
  • Eliminate & minimise heat stress for employees working in open yards by providing tools and awareness.
  • Implement a waste management system to protect the environment at Supply Base, Store & Offshore sub-stores locations.
  • Recommend and nominate employees for useful safety training courses in liaison with “HSED & HR”
  • Coordinate with” Marine Team” through regular meetings and action plans to improve safety aspects and conduct from time to time emergency drill 
 
Operations
  • Co-ordinates the activities of the warehouses operations, including receipt/storage/ issue and dispatch the requested materials to all offshore locations (Drilling and Operation).
  • Administrate the processing and distribution of all documents relating to receipts, deliveries such as GRN, GRV, and RNs …etc.
  • Responsible of storing and maintaining store stock & direct materials items in good conditions ready for use when required.
  • Co-ordinates with Asset Units /Divisions users & MArine Team for preparation of bulk materials (Fuel ,oil, drilling mud chemical and other operation chemicals ) to be supplied to Offshore locations, Drilling Rigs & Offshore Location.
  • Coordinate with other sections within Commercial to make strategy planning on issues related to the reduction of inventory and improvement of service level.
  • Provides support/advices to Asset units /other related Divisions on description related issues and discrepancies.
  • Daily contacts with work associates in Commercial Division, Engineers and Finance Division up to Section Leader’s level to provide technical information regarding materials.
  • Works according to Company’s established policies, procedures and technical standards.
  • Exercises latitude and judgment in clarification and compilation of technical descriptions.
  • Completed work will be reviewed by Section Leader on random basis.

Minimum Requirements [ Knowledge Skills & Experience]:
  • B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent with 5 years experience on handling various products specifications.
  • 3 years experience in Materials Specification/Coding/Cataloguing in Oil/Gas or Petro-chemical Industry, with a sound knowledge of computer operation.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English language.
