Document Control Management
•Develop an effective document and record control system aligned to nuclear industry best practices and standards
•Set up temporary document storage system, including creation of a mechanism to ensure documents in various stages of approval are not corrupted or put into use until appropriate approvals are completed
•Provide easy access storage locations for templates and writer’s guides
•Coordinate with ICT to oversee the transition from present DCRM configuration to a SAP based document management system
•Coordinate with ICT to create an electronic (paperless) document approval process
•Create a procedure change process based upon nuclear industry best practices
•Provide strategic and day-to-day direction for the document control and records program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
•Ensure an ongoing improvement and implementation of the electronic information management system to meet evolving program needs
•Develop and maintain program documentation (policies, procedures, processes etc.) and ensure training for program participants
Document Coordination and Oversight
•Oversee the processing of all incoming and outgoing quality documents and records to ensure they meet objectives
•Oversee centralized records storage system and ensure that all records are securely stored in the proper location per quality requirements
•Conduct routine performance and compliance assessments of the document control/records management system to ensure the system meets compliance requirements
Budget
•Prepare and recommend the development of the Document Control and records management portion of the Documentation Group budget, and monitor financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment.
People Management
•Determine changing staffing needs for the DCRM group from the start of the documentation project until the transition to the online organization based upon document creation/change rate and system capability.
•Manage the effective achievement of organization’s objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and department performance.
•Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
•Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or field related to document control
6-7 years relevant experience
Document Control experience in an environment that demands rigid quality requirements
Strong cross-business project management experience
