The role is chartered with defining and developing the vision, strategy, plans, lifecycle development processes, methods, and training as well as driving the implementation of the rigorous and structured engineering systems.
In addition you will:
- Define and develop vision, strategy, plans, lifecycle development processes, methods, and training as well as drive implementation of the rigorous and structured systems engineering approach to the DCIS solution including the plant control, monitoring, visual display, and reporting functions, digital hardware/software technology platforms or equipment, data communications and networking as well as the digital interfaces with the plant’s electric systems
- Define and develop plans, processes, and methods then train, mentor, and drive high integrity implementation of requirements identification, definition, elaboration, management, traceability, and metrics approach from high through to low levels in the system architecture
- Define and develop plans, processes, and methods; then train, mentor, and drive high integrity implementation of plant, system or platform, and component level requirements and design document hierarchies, schemas, and professionally prepared and written technical deliverables
- Define and develop plans, processes, and methods; then train, mentor, and drive high integrity implementation of processes, procedures, and instruction (PPI) compliant with applicable nuclear regulations, industry standards, and company practices used to control and guide the systems and software engineering process and its deliverables
- Collaborate with lead system and design engineers to ensure adequate functional and performance margin management as well as robust system integration, data communication and networking, and inter- operability across the diverse DCIS platforms
- Collaborate with lead system and design engineers to develop comprehensive test plans for unit, module, single system factory acceptance, multi- system integration factory acceptance, site, construction, pre-operation, and startup and hand-over test programs throughout EPC
- Define and develop plans, processes, and methods; then train, mentor, and drive high design/development assurance and integrity of activities and deliverables through surveillances and auditing plus leadership of ICE specific configuration management, baseline or design review, system and software safety analysis, and independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities and their deliverables.
