PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Purpose:

• Plans, controls, monitors and supervises plant maintenance through CMMS (MAXIMO) and schemes (Major Overhauls/Capital) on control and instrumentation systems associated with oil, gas, utilities and oil loading throughout the Process and Storage facilities. Includes participation and supervision of enhancements, installation and commission of a wide variety of control · systems. Prepares/monitors the control maintenance budget either for nonmal operating budget or other schemes.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Leads and controls the activities of control activities related to plant maintenance and schemes. Perfonms supervisory responsibilities for all control activities within Field Site.
• Liaises regularly with Planning Engineers, Engineering and Operation Authorities regarding the plant maintenance, schemes to achieve the set target requirement in cost effective and safe manner.
• Participates in preparing the normal operating budget, major maintenance and capital budget for all Control Maintenance activities within Company Asset.
• Controls and monitors the expenditure of control maintenance activities to meet the budget target.
• Analyzes the Preventive maintenance schedule, recommends enhancements to the procedure, maintenance intervals to achieve maximum reliability and availability of the control systems.
• Supports Control Section members to attend troubleshooting to minimize unavailability in a safe and cost effective manner.
• Complies with set target of Integrity Assurance KPI (Integrity and Safety Critical Systems Compliance). Ensures all control related maintenance inputs well prepared regarding planned major overhauls.
• Leads PMRs packages implementation, programming, and material procurement and recommends updating of the relevant controlled drawings and documents.
• Participate in Hand-over/pre-commissioning/commissioning of new schemes for control side. Acts as focal point & Technical Authority for Maintenance Control Activities.
• Monitors and verifies all control maintenance/modification works fully complies with Companys HSE Management System, HSE Regulations, Operation and Maintenance Procedures as per Compnay Maintenance Policy and Strategy.
• Reviews the HSE scope of work of control works. Attends regular Safety meetings.
• Participates in Risk Assessments and HAZOP studies.
• Monitors and controls the training of all UAE Nationals Control Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians under development. Participates in the assessment and verification of CAMS Developers in all Maintenance Section.
• Guides, directs and supervises subordinates to ensure they work to their best potential and contribute effectively as a team. Works in line with HSE Policy, and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.

Communications & Organisational Relationships:

• Frequent contacts with Electrical and Control Maintenance Section Leaders on field to coordinate planned and major maintenance activities.
•  Daily contacts with Operations Authorities up to Field Process SL and Storex SL level to agree on PM routine schedule intervals and discuss any plant abnormalities.
• Frequent contacts with Engineering and Projects Team up to Engineering and Projects Team Leader level to coordinate enhancement of the plant equipment.
• Frequent contacts with General Support and Projects Team members up to GSPTL level to co-ordinate mobile equipment, civil works, scaffolding, painting and the running enhancement projects.
• Regular contacts with Commercial, Materials, Contracts and Stock Control Teams up to Team Leader/Section Leader to follow up and co-ordinate materials and services necessary to cover routine/major maintenance activities.
• Daily contacts with Financial Controller, Integrity, CAMS, HR and Logistics authorities within Company.
• Works according to Company's established policy, procedures approved work programs and professional engineering standards.

Minimum Requirements [Knowledge Skills & Experience]:

• Bachelor Degree in Control Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-9 years experience with 5 years in Control/Instrumentation experience in oil or petrochemical industry.
• Very good knowledge of English.

Preference given to Applicants with Offshore work Experience and who can join immediately
