Carries out all control/instruments (except Fire & Gas system) activities on gas turbines, water injection pumps and auxiliaries, such as maintenance, repair monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, reports on failed components, modules, cards, etc.

Carries out all control/instruments (except Fire & Gas system) activities on gas turbines, water injection pumps and auxiliaries, such as maintenance, repair monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, reports on failed components, modules, cards, etc.
Principal Accountabilities:
Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts):
Regular contacts with personnel at own level in own and other departments especially to advise on work progress and follow up on technical problems. Receives supervision from Gas Turbines Supervisor.
Independence of Operations and Decision-making Authority:
Works in accordance with written instructions and preventive maintenance programmes, established procedures and trade standards.
Physical Effort:
Standing, walking, climbing, bending and using hand tools. Occasionally using instruments or test equipment in confined or awkward positions
Work Environment:
Approximately 70% of the working time is exposed to prevailing weather conditions, fumes, dirt and considerable noise when on site. The remainder is spent in an air-conditioned environment. Frequency of night calls is higher due to nature of equipment's (vital)
