BASIC FUNCTION

Provide TOS containers planning support to Operation Team leader, Masters of Feeders and UAE gateway ports with the aim of improving efficiency and the effectiveness of the department.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and schedule the timely completion of all containers stowage plans at yards, Quays and onboard feeder activities.

Ensure best optimization of yards space, minimum shifting, STS/ RTG and TT splits/number of equipment and best optimization of feeder space.

Communicate with TOS Administrator, Operation Team Leader, Shifts Supervisors, Feeder Master and other UAE TOS/gateways planners to ensure efficient and prompt EDI processing.

Conducts ccontinuous review of Yards plans and Feeders Stowage plans to ensure all movements are planned in a timely and in efficient manner.

Comply with TOS Administrator for required customization

Conduct preliminary reviews of all completed data are instantly entered promptly by shift supervisors, equipment and gates operators as applicable.

Ensure all TOS required EDI files and data are backed up.

Ensure that all work is performed safely and delivered to the requirements of both internal and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications

College degree preferably in shipping, IT or Logistics.

3 years previous experience in the same capacity as TOS — Container planner

Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Project, Works, etc.)

Excellent presentation skills

Above average analytical skills

Good communication skills in both oral and written

Willing to work long hours

Proven ability to deal with all levels of the organization
